The strategy centers on two tools: Further's Virtual Sales Assistant (VSA) and Readiness Surveys. Together, they don't just generate more leads. They generate better-prepared ones.

1. Instant Response — 24/7 The VSA provides immediate responses to inquiries day or night, answering questions on pricing, care levels, amenities, and more. Today, 53% of leads come in after hours or on weekends — and nearly half of Thrive’s move-ins originate from after-hours activity. 

2. Meeting Families Earlier — Before They're Ready to Tour

Two AI-powered Readiness Surveys engage Thrive’s prospects at the exploratory stage:

Care Readiness Survey — Uncovers acuity needs, personalizes sales conversations, and filters unqualified leads.

Financial Readiness Survey — Improves pricing alignment, identifies financing options, and filters financially unqualified leads.

From the prospect's perspective, the surveys are a low-commitment way to learn more about the community. For the Thrive sales team, every completed survey is a head start — budget range, care needs, timeline, and more, all collected before the first call. The surveys generated over 70 leads in 40 days.

3. Booking Tours Without the Back-and-Forth The VSA books tours directly into Thrive’s CRM and automations trigger confirmations and reminders, reducing administrative burden. The result: more tours booked, less time spent scheduling.

4. Capturing Contact & Discovery Information Conversationally Rather than static forms, the VSA and readiness surveys gently prompt for contact details while offering helpful resources. This increases data collection while keeping the experience feeling helpful, not transactional.

5. Giving Sales the Full Picture Before the First Call Every chat transcript, survey response, and summary is pushed directly into the CRM. Thrive’s Sales directors see what was asked, what concerns were raised, and key urgency signals — before they ever say hello.

The Results

Thrive has been a Further customer since 2021, and last year they doubled down — enabling tour scheduling directly within the VSA and adding website surveys to capture intent earlier in the journey. From 2024 to 2025, Thrive’s leads grew by roughly 1,000 annually, tours increased from 162 to 194, and move-ins nearly doubled from 27 to 50. Thrive believes Further was a driving force behind it.
